This region has proven to be a hiker’s paradise –
providing a range of tracks to suit anyone, whether you’re looking to hike for leisure or as a competitive sport. There are tracks leading directly from our grounds to the Finsterbach waterfalls or to the Burgruine Landskron castle ruins. You can find many hiking trails and cosy huts on our local mountain Gerlitzen. The trailheads for the Ossiacher Tauern mountain ridge can be accessed by boat, bus or bike. Free transportation is provided by the Naturpark Shuttle to the Dobratsch Nature Park. Many more hiking tours catering to various demands invite you to explore the stunning nature.

Gerlitzen, Dobratsch, Mittagskogel, Verditz and many other mountains in the region are suitable for extensive hiking tours in a wide range of difficulty levels. Here everyone gets their money’s worth – the pleasure hiker and the family as well as the competitive athlete. And after performance, numerous cosy huts with a beautiful mountain panorama invite you to refresh yourself with homemade food with a magnificent view.
